David Stanton is a Glasgow based photographer and photography educator who works mainly in the commercial and fashion/portraiture areas of the business he is also a keen landscape photographer. David has been published in numerous magazines newspapers and books worldwide and enjoys passing on what he has learned throughout his time in photography which he does partime in two Glasgow colleges as well as running regular photo workshops.
All of the above is the usual stuff you read in an about page but it tells you nothing really, I take photographs because I am compelled to do it, photography is a passion I collect my memories via the camera its as if they don’t exist without the picture. I would take photos even if nobody paid me it’s just my good fortune they sometimes do. I was speaking to a musician friend of mine the other day and he said the same he must write songs and play them it’s what he does.
